Repair and Refit Work
Whatever the nature of work you require we can help, whether it is simply a fresh coat of paint or a major refit.
With both slipway and craneage facilities and carpenter / shipwrights and welder fabricators employed on site as well as a range of regular contractors available, we are well equipped to meet your requirements.
Painting - we have an experienced paint sprayer and spraying equipment on site as well as a regular contractor, for spraying anti fouling and top sides, we also have staff available for painting by hand.
Anodes - with every vessel we take out of the water we will replace any anodes that need replacing as a matter of course.
Wood Work - our carpenter / shipwrights are all highly experienced in working with wooden vessels, including interior fitting out, re-planking and re-laying decks, caulking and general repairs.
Steel Work - we have a number of highly skilled welder fabricators available for repair work, structual work and modifications.
Engine Work and Engineering - our on site engineer is available for servicing and engine repairs, we can also arrange the installation of new engines and other associated engineering work.
Shaft and Stern Gear Work - we can carry out shaft and stern gear work on all vessels once out of the water using our experienced staff. Any machining will be carried out by our regular contractor. Where possible we will also arrange any transportation of parts.
Electronics - Using established and regular contractors we can arrange for a variety of services from wiring and lighting to installation of electronic equipment.
Fibreglass Work - we have the facilities to carry out a range of fibreglassing services including repairs, fibreglassed additions or fitting out. For coloured fibreglass work we are able to match colours from a large range.
If you require major modification work on your vessel we are happy to work with any designer / naval architect to meet your requirements.
We are able to supply and source most paint and materials, including special or unique orders.
