Gellan Bodinnick Ferry is on the slipway for it’s MCA inspection, it is also having the main deck and ramps water blasted.
Camel Fish is now outside of the shed having it’s mast, wheelhouse and keels fitted. We are waiting for the weather to dry up so it can be painted and then have it’s MCA inspection so it can be launched or towed to Padstow.
Bit of a damp day today in Polruan, but the rain will not stop us. We are busy in the sheds working on some of the new builds.
Weekly round up- we have been busy lifting yacht’s out for Winter storage, with only 15 left to go.
One of the Bodinnick car ferries is on the slipway having it’s yearly refit, main decks are being water blasted.
Camel fish is partly outside having it’s handrails fitted around the shelter deck and engine keel cooling fitted.
Sea Otter- the replacement tail shaft and bearings have been delivered and are now being fitted along with a new cooper bearing. Ready for launching at the end of the week.
A new 10m trawler is coming out of the shed next week to have it’s gantry fitted and finished off.
